This set combines the extended comfort of deep-seat lounge furniture with the clean lines of cafe dining chairs, built from coastal-rated Marine Grade Polymer that outlasts wood and won't corrode in salt air. The Belle Isle Deep Seat Cushion Cafe Arm Chair 2-piece set, available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping, is made to order in the USA and features Sunbrella cushions that drain fast after rain. Deep seating means a 20-plus-inch seat depth that lets you settle in for long conversations at the table, not just quick meals.
How Are These Chairs Actually Built?
These outdoor arm chairs are constructed from Marine Grade Polymer, a non-porous composite material that won't rust, rot, crack, or absorb water even when exposed to poolside chemicals or ocean spray. Stainless steel hardware resists corrosion, and the stackable frame ships fully assembled so you can use the set right out of the box. The Sunbrella cushions attach with replaceable hook-and-loop straps, and their Rain Through Technology allows water to drain instead of pooling on the surface, so the chairs dry quickly after summer storms. Every piece is made in the USA, carrying on a tradition Telescope Casual has held since 1935.
What Can You Choose on This Set?
You can customize both the frame finish and the cushion fabric when you place your order:
- Frame finish: choose from a range of colors including White, Snow, Black, Kona, Desert Sand, Beachwood, and Gray
- Cushion fabric: 100-plus Sunbrella color options, all with Rain Through Technology and UV-stabilized fade resistance
- Cushion firmness and density are standard, designed for outdoor use in high-traffic environments
How Soon Will They Arrive?
Your set will be built to order and ship in 6-8 weeks. That lead time accounts for crafting the MGP frame, cutting and sewing your chosen Sunbrella fabric, and assembling the chairs so they arrive ready to use. The frame and cushions both carry a 15-year residential warranty, and commercial buyers receive a 3-year warranty covering hospitality use.
Where Do Deep Seat Cafe Chairs Work Best?
Use these chairs around an outdoor dining table on covered patios where you entertain for hours, not minutes -- the deep cushions make guests comfortable enough to linger. The stackable design means you can store them easily when the season ends or when you reconfigure your space for larger gatherings. Pair them with pieces from our
outdoor lounge chairs collection to create a cohesive seating area, or add a few
folding chairs for overflow seating that stores flat. They work equally well around fire pits, on pool decks, or anywhere coastal-rated furniture is required -- the MGP frame and Sunbrella cushions are engineered to survive salt air, chlorine, and full sun without fading or deteriorating.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How long does it take to build?
- These chairs are made to order in 6-8 weeks, crafted in the USA and shipped fully assembled so you can use them right away.
- Can I choose the fabric or finish?
- Yes -- you can select from a range of frame finishes and a range of Sunbrella cushion colors when you order.
- Where are they made?
- They're made in America by Telescope Casual, a manufacturer that's been building outdoor furniture domestically since 1935.
- Can I return a made-to-order piece?
- Custom-built items are generally final sale because they're configured to your specifications, so confirm your finish and fabric choices before ordering.
- What makes Marine Grade Polymer better than wood or metal?
- MGP won't rust, rot, splinter, or absorb water, so it outlasts wood and aluminum in coastal climates where salt air and humidity destroy traditional materials.
- Do the cushions need to be brought inside when it rains?
- No -- the Sunbrella fabric features Rain Through Technology that drains water instead of trapping it, so the cushions dry quickly and resist mildew even when left outdoors.
