An outdoor glider chair is built for smooth, horizontal motion and deep seating on covered patios -- this one is made from marine-grade polymer that won't rust or rot. The Belle Isle Deep Seat Cushion High Back Single-Seat Outdoor Glider available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping offers high-back support, a gliding swivel base, and Sunbrella cushions that dry fast after storms.

How Is This Glider Actually Built?

It's made in America with a Marine Grade Polymer frame that won't crack, absorb water, or corrode in coastal humidity. The precision-engineered gliding mechanism moves smoothly without squeaking, and replaceable suspension straps attach with hook-and-loop fasteners so you can swap them when needed instead of replacing the whole seat.

What Can You Choose on This Piece?

You can select your frame finish and armrest finish from the options listed above. The Sunbrella cushion fabric is fade-resistant and mildew-resistant, and the Rain Through Technology prevents water from pooling after rain -- it drains quickly so you're back outside within minutes.

How Long Does It Take to Build?

This glider is made to order in 6-8 weeks. Once it ships, you'll receive free curbside delivery to the continental USA, and it carries a 15-year residential warranty on the frame and components.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does this glider work best?

Place it on a covered porch or screened room where the swivel base lets you turn toward conversation or the garden without moving the chair. Pair it with outdoor lounge chairs or outdoor rocking chairs for flexible seating zones.

What's the difference between a glider and a rocker?

A glider moves in a straight horizontal line using a suspension system, while a rocker pivots on curved rails. Many find the glider's motion gentler for extended sitting.

Can I leave this outside year-round?

Yes -- the MGP and aluminum frame resists rust, rot, and UV damage in all climates. The Sunbrella cushions are water-resistant but will last longer if stored during harsh winters.

Can I return a made-to-order piece?

Returnability follows the option you ordered, not how the piece was built: a size, finish or fabric shown as an option on this page can be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to a 20% restocking fee, while a specially requested size or a piece made in your own material is custom and is not returnable except on damage. Contact us at 833-566-6526 before ordering if you have questions about your finish choice.

What does Marine Grade Polymer mean?

MGP is a synthetic material engineered to withstand pool chemicals, saltwater, and constant sun exposure without cracking or fading -- tougher than wood and lighter than metal.

Does this require assembly?

No -- the glider mechanism arrives pre-installed with legs attached, so it's ready to use on delivery.
