Marine grade polymer.
Built in the USA with a marine-grade polymer frame and powder-coated aluminum that stands up to coastal spray and pool chemicals without rusting or cracking, this sling patio chair is engineered for real outdoor use. The Belle Isle MGP Sling Arm Chair, available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping, delivers breathable comfort you can hose clean and stack away when the season ends. At just over 12 pounds, it's light enough to move around your deck but stable enough to stay put in a breeze.
It's built on a powder-coated aluminum frame with marine-grade polymer arms, a multi-layer finish that resists chipping, and stainless steel hardware that won't corrode. The blue-and-beige sling fabric is precisely tensioned between the frame rails so it supports you without sagging over time, and the breathable weave lets air circulate and water drain straight through. American manufacturing at a facility that has turned out outdoor furniture for over a century means rigorous quality control, faster replacement parts, and a 15-year residential warranty on the frame and structure.
This particular model is offered in the blue-and-beige sling colorway with marine-grade polymer snow arms. While the Belle Isle line includes other sling colors and frame finishes, this chair is built as specified. Every piece is made to order, so you're getting a chair built for you rather than pulled from warehouse stock.
This chair is built to order in 6-8 weeks, then ships free via curbside delivery to any address in the continental United States. Because it's made to order, you're not picking from what happens to be on hand -- you're getting a piece built fresh to your specifications. The 15-year residential warranty covers the frame and suspension system, and the marine-grade construction is engineered to outlast aluminum-only or wicker designs in harsh UV and saltwater environments.
This design excels poolside, on covered patios, and in resort terraces where you want clean contemporary lines without ongoing cushion storage or fabric fade concerns. The stackable feature makes it practical if you entertain in waves or need to clear the deck for off-season storage. Pair it with pieces from our outdoor lounge chairs and outdoor dining chair collections to create cohesive outdoor zones, or explore our guide to transforming your outdoor living spaces into rooms you'll actually use. If you're furnishing a covered porch, the UV-stabilized construction holds its color year after year.
Works well in a sunroom or screened porch
UV-stabilized construction and the fade-resistant fabric make this chair useful in sunny, enclosed spaces like a sunroom. Stackable design saves space when not in use, and the marine-grade frame should handle humid conditions without trouble. Comfortable-looking sling style without the fuss of cushions.
Stable build but a bit heavy to move
Stationary base gives a rock-solid feel on a terrace, which is great in breezy spots. The Marine Grade Polymer Frame and UV-stabilized materials handle sun and salt spray, but the chair is a little heavy to shuffle around by yourself. Still a solid choice if frequent rearranging isn't needed.
Low upkeep for a busy porch
Zero-maintenance operation is exactly what a covered porch needsno cushions to store and no worries about fabric fading. UV-stabilized construction means the sling fabric should resist sun damage over time, so it stays usable season after season. Simple and practical for everyday outdoor seating.
Fits nicely on a small balcony Belle Isle MGP Sling Outdoor Arm Chair 2
The chair's design works well in tight outdoor spaces and at about 27.5 inches wide it doesn't take up much room. Stackable design makes offseason storage simple, and the zero-maintenance operation means no cushions to worry about. Good for apartment balconies or narrow patios.
Solid choice for poolside seating Belle Isle MGP Sling Outdoor Arm Chair 2
Great pick for poolside areas since the Marine Grade Polymer Frame won't absorb water or react to pool chemicals. The stationary base feels very stable on a windy deck, and the UV-stabilized construction should help the fabric keep its color. Feels like a low-fuss option for outdoor lounging.
