Built in the USA with powder-coated aluminum framing and Marine Grade Polymer arms that won't rust or crack in coastal weather, this swivel bar stool is engineered for smooth 360-degree rotation through thousands of cycles. The Belle Isle MGP Sling Bar Height Swivel Arm Chair with premium sling fabric is available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping. Pairs with 40--42-inch bar tables for proper clearance and comfort.
How Is This Swivel Bar Stool Actually Built?
The frame is 100% powder-coated aluminum -- multi-stage finish that resists chipping, fading, and corrosion while keeping the stool lightweight. Marine Grade Polymer (MGP) arms are non-porous and won't absorb water, rot, or crack the way wood does, even in salt air. The swivel mechanism uses commercial-grade sealed bearings that rotate smoothly in both directions without binding or needing periodic lubrication, and stainless steel hardware holds up to rain and coastal conditions without rusting.
What Can You Choose on This Piece?
You'll pick from a range of powder-coat frame finishes and a range of Sunbrella sling fabric colors to match your poolside bar or outdoor kitchen island. The breathable sling fabric dries quickly after rain, circulates air in hot weather, and resists stretching or tearing with daily use. Curved armrests give you support getting in and out of the elevated seat safely.
How Long Does It Take to Build?
This piece is made to order and takes 6-8 weeks to craft and deliver. Every Belle Isle swivel bar stool is built in the USA and ships fully assembled -- the swivel mechanism is pre-installed and factory-tested, so you'll only attach the seat to the base when it arrives. It carries a 15-year residential warranty on frame and swivel components.
Where Should I Use Outdoor Swivel Bar Stools?
Position this stool at poolside bars, resort terraces, or outdoor kitchen islands where you'll want to rotate between conversation groups without standing. At 29.5 inches seat height, it's built for 40--42-inch bar tables and gives proper leg clearance. Pair it with pieces from our
outdoor dining chair collection for cohesive resort-style entertaining, or mix with
outdoor lounge chairs and
outdoor rocking chairs for multi-level deck setups.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I leave this swivel bar stool outside year-round?
- Yes, the powder-coated aluminum and Marine Grade Polymer construction withstand rain, snow, and coastal salt air without covers or winter storage.
- Will the swivel mechanism wear out with heavy use?
- The sealed bearing system is commercial-grade and tested for thousands of rotation cycles, so it rotates smoothly for years without maintenance.
- Can I return a made-to-order bar stool?
- Returnability follows the option you ordered, not how the piece was built: a size, finish or fabric shown as an option on this page can be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to a 20% restocking fee, while a specially requested size or a piece made in your own material is custom and is not returnable except on damage.

- Multi-stage powder coating, reinforced bearing systems, and non-porous materials are engineered to survive thousands of use cycles in hospitality and resort installations.
- How do I clean the sling fabric and aluminum frame?
