Hand-applied Castelle finish.
The Berkeley Sling Dining Chair marries the easy comfort of sling seating with handcrafted luxury for your patio or deck. This outdoor dining chair -- a specialized seat combining weather-resistant mesh fabric with a supportive frame designed for extended al fresco dining -- is available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping. Its carved wood-look frame is crafted entirely from cast and extruded aluminum, delivering the warmth of natural timber with none of the maintenance, while the shaped sling seat and back provide ergonomic support that holds its form season after season.
This welded aluminum dining chair excels in high-exposure environments where rust and corrosion threaten lesser materials -- from poolside patios to coastal verandas. The powder-coated finish resists fading and salt air, while the mesh sling upholstery sheds water quickly and breathes in summer heat. Pair it with other pieces from our outdoor furniture collection to create a cohesive dining ensemble, or add coordinating outdoor accent chairs to complete your retreat. The carved wood aesthetic brings organic warmth to modern lines, and the high supportive back makes long dinners and conversation comfortable without cushions to stow.
Low-maintenance by design, this chair requires only periodic washing with mild soap and water to keep the frame and sling looking fresh. The aluminum never needs sealing or refinishing, and the mesh fabric dries quickly after rain. Store cushions separately if added, but the chair itself can remain outside year-round in most climates. Great poolside dining chairs
Perfect for a poolside dining setup the all-weather sling fabric dries fast after a splash and the cast aluminum frame wont rust. The coastal style fits the yard without feeling fussy and the seats are comfortable for long casual meals.
Comfortable chair with one caveat
These are comfortable for dining and the all-weather sling fabric is easy to wipe down, but the cast aluminum frame makes them a bit heavy to move around the table. Assembly was straightforward, so that weight is the main trade-off.
Sturdy choice for a small cafe
We were looking for chairs that could handle daily commercial use and the tapered leg design gives a solid look while keeping the profile light. The multi-stage powder coat finish also feels like it will stand up to lots of customers over time.
Fits my narrow balcony setup
At about 25.5" wide the chair fits neatly on a tight balcony and still feels roomy enough to dine in. The multi-stage powder coat finish held up well through a few rainy weekends so far.
Good pick for a sunny deck
The powder coat finish and cast aluminum frame seem meant for outdoor sun exposure, and the sling fabric breathes nicely on hot days. Its a practical coastal-style option for a sunny deck or backyard eating area.
