Hand-applied Castelle finish.
Built in the USA from extruded aluminum and custom-finished to your specifications, this high-back lounge chair is designed for poolside installations where commercial-grade materials meet all-day comfort. The Castelle Prism outdoor lounge chair is available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping. At 39 inches tall overall, the backrest supports your full torso through extended conversation or relaxed poolside reading sessions.
Extruded aluminum rather than cast metal -- the frame uses continuous extrusion to create stronger joints that won't crack under temperature swings or the kind of repeated use you'd see at a luxury resort. The sled base eliminates traditional four-leg construction, distributing weight evenly so the chair won't sink into grass or sand. Each piece is powder-coated in your chosen finish (20+ colors available) and upholstered with oversized Sunbrella cushions in one of over 100 fabric options, then inspected before it leaves the American workshop.
This is a made-to-order lounge chair, so you configure it before it's built:
6-8 weeks from the day you place your order. Because the Prism is built to your fabric and finish selections in a US workshop, it isn't warehoused or shipped from stock -- the lead time covers powder-coating, upholstery, and quality inspection before it leaves for you.
The rust-proof aluminum construction and sled base make this chair ideal for poolside terraces, coastal patios where salt air demands commercial-grade materials, and luxury resort installations. Pair it with pieces from our outdoor chaise lounge or outdoor dining chair collections to build a cohesive outdoor seating plan, or mix it with other outdoor lounge chairs for flexible conversation groupings.
Nice overall but might be heavy to move
The extruded aluminum frame paired with Sunbrella cushions seems built for conversation areas and poolside seating, and the powder-coated finish should handle coastal conditions. If you plan to rearrange furniture often it might feel a bit heavy to move, and custom ordering can add a little lead time.
Comfortable looking coastal chair
For a covered porch I like the coastal style and the Sunbrella cushions, which seem low-maintenance and comfortable. The rust-proof powder coat makes it seem like a sensible choice near the ocean breeze.
Sturdy frame for a small balcony
This chair looks like it would work well on a narrow balcony the extruded aluminum frame should resist rust in salty air, and the powder-coated finish helps with coastal exposure. Sunbrella cushions appear to dry quickly after a rain, which is handy.
Lots of fabric and finish options
Made-to-order customization sounds really useful if you want to match existing patio pieces there are plenty of powder-coated frame finishes and Sunbrella fabric choices to consider. I can see this working well on a seaside porch where color coordination matters.
Tall backrest great for long conversations
The 39-inch overall height looks like it would support your whole torso, which seems ideal for extended outdoor dining or chatting with friends. The extruded aluminum frame with Sunbrella cushions gives the impression of comfort and durability for evenings on the patio.
