Powder-coated aluminum framing meets breathable sling fabric in a chaise lounger that stacks tight, dries fast, and lasts through years of poolside use. The Kendall Sling Lay-Flat Stacking Armless Chaise is available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping. Built in the USA with marine-grade construction, it's a stackable solution for homeowners who need seasonal storage without sacrificing durability.
How Is This Chaise Actually Built?
The frame is 100% powder-coated aluminum -- a multi-layer finish that resists chipping, won't rust or peel, and holds up in coastal salt air. Stainless steel hardware ensures every pivot and joint stays secure through years of reclining and stacking. Premium sling fabric stretches across the frame without cushions, so there's nothing to store, replace, or drag inside when it rains.
What Positions Can You Set It To?
- Four reclining positions, including full lay-flat for tanning or napping
- Armless design for easy entry and exit
- Breathable sling seat that stays cool in direct sun and dries in minutes after a storm
- 15-unit stacking capability -- nest a full season's worth of chaises in four feet of floor space
How Long Does It Take to Build?
This chaise is made to order in 6-8 weeks, then ships fully assembled and ready to use. Because it's built after you order, there's no warehouse stock and no shortcuts -- just American manufacturing with a 15-year residential warranty on the frame and construction.
Where Does a Stackable Chaise Work Best?
Pool decks, beachfront patios, resort-style backyards -- anywhere you need serious durability and off-season storage without hauling cushions. Pair it with pieces from the
custom outdoor and
outdoor chaise lounge collections for a coordinated setup, or flank an
outdoor coffee table for a full sun-and-shade zone. For more layout ideas, see the guide to
outdoor living spaces.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How is this chaise different from an indoor chaise lounge?
- It's built for poolside exposure -- instant-dry sling instead of upholstery, coastal-rated aluminum instead of wood, and it stacks for storage.
- Can I leave it outside year-round?
- Yes -- the powder-coated aluminum and UV-resistant sling are designed for year-round outdoor exposure, including saltwater and chlorine environments.
- Does it arrive assembled?
- Yes, it ships fully assembled and ready to use.
- Can I return a made-to-order chaise?
- Returnability follows the option you ordered, not how the piece was built. A size, finish or configuration shown as an option on this page can be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to a 20% restocking fee -- whatever its build time. A specially requested size, or a piece made in your own material, is custom and is not returnable except on damage. Trade accounts have the restocking fee waived.
- What's the difference between sling and cushioned outdoor furniture?
- Sling dries in minutes, never needs replacement covers, and can't be stolen or blown away -- cushioned pieces are plusher but require storage and maintenance.
- How do I clean the sling fabric?
- Mild soap and water, rinsed thoroughly, then air-dry -- the sling resists staining and mildew, so most dirt wipes off in seconds.
