Hand-crafted in Michigan, this deep-seat loveseat is built for the homeowner who wants year-round outdoor comfort without settling for flimsy frames or flat cushions. The Lloyd Flanders Mesa loveseat -- a compact outdoor sofa designed for two -- is available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping. Its 30.5-inch depth and foam-core cushions wrapped in polyester layered fill deliver the plush, lounge-like support real deep seating is known for, while the welded aluminum frame and virgin vinyl wicker stand up to sun, salt air, and humidity season after season.

How Is This Loveseat Actually Built?

It's built on a welded all-aluminum frame that won't rust or corrode, even in coastal climates. The 100% virgin vinyl wicker is handwoven with UV inhibitors blended into the material, so it won't fade excessively, absorb moisture, or weaken over time. Every piece is crafted domestically in Menominee, Michigan -- the only premium wicker furniture of this caliber still made in the United States. The Durium modified polyester enamel finish on the frame resists chemicals and outdoor exposure, requiring nothing more than a wipe-down with warm water and mild detergent.

What Can You Choose on This Piece?

You can select from a range of Sunbrella fabrics for the custom cushions, matching the loveseat to your deck palette or patio scheme. The foam core with polyester wrap ensures structure and plush comfort, and the moisture-resistant casing drains and dries quickly after rain. Because this is built to order for you, every cushion is tailored to your fabric choice and delivered as part of your finished piece.

How Long Does It Take to Build?

This loveseat is made to order and typically ships in 6-8 weeks from the date you place your order. That lead time accounts for hand-weaving the wicker, welding the frame, and sewing your custom Sunbrella cushions. Once it arrives, you'll have a piece built specifically for you, backed by the craftsmanship of American manufacturing and built for outdoor use that lasts for years.

Where Does a Deep-Seat Loveseat Work Best?

This loveseat anchors covered patios beautifully, either as a standalone piece with a weatherproof side table or paired with modular sections from our custom outdoor collection to build a flexible conversation zone. On smaller decks and screened porches, it provides generous seating for two without overwhelming the footprint. Complement it with pieces from our outdoor sofas range to complete a cohesive seating arrangement, or add coordinating outdoor barstools nearby for a casual entertaining setup.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the wicker handwoven?

Yes, every strand of virgin vinyl wicker is handwoven over the welded aluminum frame in Michigan.

Can it be used outdoors year-round?

Absolutely -- the aluminum frame won't corrode, the wicker won't absorb moisture or rot, and the cushion fabric is moisture-resistant. For extended rain exposure, store cushions indoors or use a breathable cover.

How firm are the cushions?

The foam core with polyester wrap and blown polyfill delivers plush, lounge-level support -- firmer than loose-fill outdoor cushions but softer than indoor wood-frame seating.

Will it fit through my door?

At 57 inches wide, it will fit through most standard doorways (typically 32--36 inches) by angling it, though you may need to remove cushions first.

Can I return a custom piece?

Returnability follows the option you ordered, not how the piece was built: a size, finish or fabric shown as an option on this page can be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to a 20% restocking fee, while a specially requested size or a piece made in your own material is custom and is not returnable except on damage.

What is deep seating outdoor furniture?

Deep seating refers to outdoor sofas and chairs with seat depths of 24 inches or more and thick, multi-layer cushions -- this loveseat's 30.5-inch depth qualifies it as true deep seating.
