Woven Lloyd Loom finish.
Handcrafted in Michigan with rust-proof aluminum and Lloyd Loom woven wicker, this chair delivers deep-seated comfort built to handle humidity without rotting or warping. The Weekend Retreat Outdoor Lounge Chair available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping brings plantation-style proportions and commercial-grade durability to covered patios and screened porches. Every piece is built to your finish choice and shipped ready for your outdoor room.
The frame is welded aluminum, which stays rust-free through temperature swings and wet seasons. Lloyd Flanders wraps that structure with proprietary vinyl wicker -- developed in 1906 and still manufactured in Menominee, Michigan -- that resists cracking and moisture absorption. Seat cushions feature a foam core wrapped in polyester for structure and plush give, while the back cushion is filled with blown polyfill encased in moisture-resistant fabric.
You select your frame finish from 20 options. The linen finish shown is one of those choices; each is woven into the vinyl wicker during manufacturing so the color runs through rather than sitting on the surface.
This chair is built to order in 6-8 weeks. Each one is woven by hand in Michigan, then shipped free to the continental USA. The aluminum frame and Lloyd Loom wicker construction meet commercial hospitality standards, so the piece is built for high-traffic outdoor use season after season.
Position it on covered patios where it anchors conversation zones alongside other outdoor lounge chairs, or pair multiples on screened porches to create a dedicated relaxation area. The all-weather construction also works on pool decks under pergolas or umbrellas, and the traditional aesthetic mixes well with outdoor chaise lounges and outdoor dining chairs for a cohesive outdoor room.
Traditional look but assembly note
I like the traditional sloped arms and plantation-style scale, which read as friendly porch furniture. One small caveat is that the setup appears to require a bit of effort, so expect some mild assembly rather than instant use.
Wrong timing for our project Lloyd Flanders
The item is usable, but it arrived after our room project was already finished. The color tone read differently online too, which made the delay more frustrating than it might have been otherwise.
Commercial-grade for poolside use
The commercial-grade construction and rust-proof aluminum frame suggest this would hold up nicely in a poolside seating area or a hotel patio. The deep comfort cushions along with mildew-resistant back fill make it practical where damp conditions are common. It comes across as a durable, guest-friendly chair.
Great for covered patios Weekend Retreat Outdoor Lounge Chair 2
The rust-proof aluminum frame and notes about being lightweight make it easy to picture moving this around a covered patio. The all-weather wicker that resists cracking and moisture is a sensible choice if you want low fuss between seasons. It seems like a relaxed spot to sit with a coffee.
Sunroom reading nook candidate
The foam core seat cushions wrapped in polyester and the blown polyfill back cushions point to real comfort for a reading nook. Mildew resistance is a handy feature for a bright sunroom that gets humid in summer. It feels like the kind of chair you could curl up in for a long stretch.
