Made in the USA from UV-stabilized polyester and built for the spills, mud, and weather that come with real life, this flat-weave rug dries fast and keeps its grip on any floor. The Mirelle white washable indoor-outdoor rug, available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping, brings a clean ribbon-swirl pattern to covered patios, mudrooms, and kitchens where you can toss it in the wash when it needs it.
How Is This Rug Built for Indoor and Outdoor Use?
UV-stabilized polyester resists sun fade on covered porches and sunrooms, while the flat weave sheds water and dries in hours after a hose-off or rainfall. The non-skid latex backing grips wood, tile, and concrete without separate pads, and the ultra-thin profile -- just 0.08 inches -- sits flat under doors and furniture legs. It's woven in the USA for durability you can count on season after season.
What Makes It Machine Washable?
The polyester weave and latex backing tolerate cold-water machine washing with mild detergent, so pet accidents, muddy paws, and food spills rinse clean. Smaller sizes fit residential washers; larger rugs wash in commercial machines or hose off outdoors and air-dry flat. No dryer heat needed -- the ultra-thin construction dries naturally in two to three hours, and the stain-resistant finish means fewer cleanings overall.
How Soon Will It Arrive?
This rug ships within 48-72 hours. It rolls up, so you can lay it out and use it the day it arrives -- no assembly, no wait for a build cycle.
Where Does a White Flat-Weave Rug Fit Best?
The neutral swirl pattern anchors furniture groupings without competing for attention, so it works under glass coffee tables, beneath dining sets, and in open floor plans where you want to define a zone. Try the 2'3" x 7'6" runner in a galley kitchen or hallway, the 5' x 7'6" size under a breakfast table, or the 9' x 12' in a great room with a sectional. Pair it with pieces from our
custom outdoor and
outdoor rugs collections for a cohesive look, or layer it on a covered patio with seating from our
outdoor chaise lounge lineup.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What's the best size for a living room?
- The 8' x 10' or 9' x 12' works well with front furniture legs resting on the rug, anchoring the seating area without crowding the floor.
- Can I use this rug outdoors year-round?
- It performs best in covered areas or spots with limited direct sun -- UV stabilization resists fading, and the fast-dry weave handles rain, but full exposure will shorten its lifespan.
- How do I keep it from slipping on tile?
- The non-skid latex backing grips smooth surfaces on its own, so you won't need a separate rug pad under it.
- Is it safe for pets and kids?
- Yes -- the machine-washable polyester handles messes, the flat weave won't snag claws, and the ribbon pattern hides fur and dirt between cleanings.
- Can larger sizes fit in a home washing machine?
- Smaller sizes wash at home; the 8' x 10' and larger typically need a commercial machine or a good outdoor hose-down with mild soap.
- Where is it made?
- This rug is made in the USA. Learn more about building your outdoor spaces on our Outdoor Living Spaces guide.
