Most outdoor chairs make you pick between swiveling for conversation or rocking for comfort -- you don't get both in a single piece built to handle weather year-round. The Nicoya High Back Swivel Rocking Lounge Chair with Sunbrella Cushions is available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping. It's built to order in America from rust-proof cast aluminum, so you can configure the frame finish and fabric to match the rest of your space.
How Is This Chair Actually Built?
It's cast aluminum through and through -- the frame won't rust, pit, or corrode even in coastal spray. The precision-engineered swivel mechanism rotates a full 360 degrees while the rocker motion operates independently, so you can shift direction without losing the gentle back-and-forth that makes long lounging sessions comfortable. The high back rises to shoulder height for full spinal support, and the white powder coating finish resists fading and wear season after season.
What Can You Choose on This Piece?
-
Frame Finish: 20+ powder-coat colors beyond the standard white
-
Cushion Fabric: 100+ Sunbrella solution-dyed acrylic options
Sunbrella fabric resists fading, mildew, and stains through years of sun exposure, and because every chair is built to order, you can coordinate it with other pieces across your patio or pool deck.
How Long Does It Take to Build?
This chair takes 6-8 weeks to build and deliver. It's made to order in the USA, so the lead time reflects the craft -- casting the aluminum, applying your chosen finish, and upholstering the deep-seat cushions. Free shipping to the continental USA is included.
Where Should You Use a Swivel Rocking Lounge Chair?
Position it where flexibility matters -- poolside, where you'll want to follow the sun without dragging furniture; covered porches, where conversation groups shift through the day; or [outdoor living spaces](/collections/outdoor-lounge-chairs) where you need a seat that does more than one thing. Pair it with an [outdoor chaise lounge](/collections/outdoor-chaise-lounge) or additional [outdoor rocking chairs](/collections/outdoor-rocking-chair) to build a full resort-style seating collection.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is a chaise lounge?
- A chaise lounge is a reclining chair with an extended seat that supports your full body, designed for one person to relax in a reclined position.
- Can I choose the fabric or finish?
- Yes -- you can select from 20+ frame finishes and 100+ Sunbrella fabric colors when you order.
- Where is it made?
- This chair is made to order in the USA.
- Can I return a made-to-order piece?
- Returnability follows the option you ordered, not how the piece was built. A size, finish or configuration shown as an option on this page can be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to a 20% restocking fee -- whatever its build time. A specially requested size, or a piece made in your own material, is custom and is not returnable except on damage. Trade accounts have the restocking fee waived.
- What material is best for poolside furniture?
- Cast aluminum is ideal because it resists rust, withstands chlorine exposure, and requires almost no maintenance.
- Are aluminum lounge chairs comfortable?
- With deep-seat cushions like the Sunbrella-upholstered ones on this chair, yes -- you get the durability of aluminum with the comfort of resort-quality cushioning.
