This outdoor dining chair is handcrafted in the USA with welded aluminum construction and breathable mesh seating that drains quickly after rain and resists mildew season after season. The Castelle Nicoya Sling Dining Chair is available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping. Unlike cushioned outdoor seating that requires seasonal storage and annual replacement, this sling chair dries within minutes and stays comfortable in coastal salt air and poolside humidity.
How Is This Chair Actually Built?
The frame combines cast and extruded aluminum -- 60 percent lighter than steel, welded for high-traffic use, and fully rust-proof. Multi-stage powder coating creates carved wood-grain texture without the seasonal maintenance teak and mahogany demand, and the finish resists fading, corrosion, and salt air exposure. The all-weather mesh sling stretches between the frame for flexible support that conforms to body weight, eliminates water pooling, and allows air circulation to prevent heat buildup on sunny decks.
What Can You Customize on This Chair?
- All-weather fabric color and pattern for the sling
- Brushed finishes and optional artisan-applied antiquing on the frame
Each chair is built to order in the USA, so you receive a piece configured to match your existing
outdoor dining table or create a cohesive look across your patio. The non-stackable design prioritizes structural integrity and ergonomic comfort over compact storage.
How Long Does It Take to Build?
Your chair is handcrafted to order and ships in 6-8 weeks. Because every piece is made in the USA to your specifications, the wait reflects real craftsmanship -- welded joints, hand-applied finishes, and quality inspection before it leaves the workshop. Castelle backs the frame and finish with a comprehensive warranty.
Where Should You Place This Chair?
Position it around poolside dining tables where quick-drying seating matters, or anchor a coastal patio with commercial-grade furniture that handles salt air and daily use. Pair it with other pieces from the
outdoor dining chair collection to complete an
outdoor dining set, or mix it with folding seating from the
outdoor folding chair range for flexible entertaining.
