Built in the USA with a powder-coated aluminum frame and Marine Grade Polymer top that stands up to pool chemicals, salt spray, and year-round sun without cracking or fading. The Telescope Origins 21" x 42" Rectangular Coffee Table is available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping. At 42 inches long and 19.5 inches high, it anchors 6-8 person seating arrangements without blocking sightlines across your sectional.
How Is This Table Actually Built?
The frame is 100% powder-coated aluminum -- the same multi-layer finish Telescope applies to its commercial hospitality pieces -- so it resists corrosion in coastal air and won't chip through freeze-thaw cycles. Marine Grade Polymer forms the top surface, a non-porous material engineered for waterfront use that won't absorb moisture, harbor mildew, or need annual refinishing. High-quality stainless steel hardware holds everything together, and the whole table is made in the USA with the quality control that comes from over a century of Telescope manufacturing.
What Can You Choose on This Piece?
This model is offered in white with the smooth-top MGP surface pattern shown. It's built to complement coordinating Origins seating and
outdoor coffee table configurations -- reach out if you're looking to match frame finishes or add
outdoor barstools in the same line.
How Long Does It Take to Build?
The confirmed lead time for this table is 6-8 weeks. Telescope frame coverage is set by the item's catalog marker -- ask us for the term on this model before specifying it for contract use. The powder-coat finish carries a 3-year warranty; the MGP top is covered for 3 years as well.
Where Does This Coffee Table Work Best?
It's sized for large outdoor sectionals and deep-seat sofas, the kind of setup that seats six to eight people around a fire table or under a covered porch. The 42-inch length gives you room for trays, lanterns, and drinks without crowding the conversation, and the MGP surface stays cool to the touch even in direct sun -- unlike metal tops that heat up by noon. Pair it with an
outdoor chaise lounge nearby or add a side table from the Origins line to extend your surface space across a wraparound arrangement.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Where is this table made?
- It's manufactured in the USA by Telescope, a company that has built American-made outdoor furniture for over a century.
- What's the best way to clean Marine Grade Polymer?
- Wipe the surface with mild soap and water -- the non-porous material resists stains and won't harbor mildew or bacteria, so routine cleaning is all it needs.
- Does powder-coated aluminum rust in coastal areas?
- No, the multi-layer powder-coat finish is engineered to resist corrosion from salt spray and humidity, and the aluminum itself won't rust the way bare steel would.
- Can I return this table if the size doesn't work?
- Yes, standard returns apply within 30 days of delivery, subject to a 20% restocking fee. Visit our outdoor living spaces guide for sizing tips before you order.
- Will this table work for a 6-person sectional?
- Yes, the 42-inch length is right for sofas 60-70 inches long -- about two-thirds the sofa's length, so it anchors the arrangement without blocking the view across it.
- Does the table arrive assembled?
- Yes, it ships fully assembled and ready to use.
