The 36" x 54" Rectangular MGP Chat Height Fire Table is built in the USA with a cast aluminum frame and Marine Grade Polymer top engineered for coastal conditions. This rectangular propane fire table is available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping.
How Is This Fire Table Actually Built?
The frame is 100% powder-coated cast aluminum -- a multi-layer finish over rust-proof material -- and fastened with stainless steel hardware. The Marine Grade Polymer top is molded from non-porous composite that resists pool chemicals, chlorine, and UV exposure without sealing. Telescope Casual has built outdoor furniture in the USA for over a century.
What Can You Choose on This Piece?
You choose the frame finish from Telescope's powder-coat range and select propane or natural gas fuel with the included convertor kit. The standard finish is matte black; additional frame finishes are available upon request.
How Long Does It Take to Build?
This fire table is made to order in 6-8 weeks. Telescope frame coverage is set by the item's catalog marker -- ask us for the term on this model before specifying it for contract use. Component coverage: powder-coat finish 3 years, non-glass table tops 3 years, cushions and slings 1 year. Steel and stainless are not covered; freeze and ice damage are excluded; the warranty is void without routine maintenance.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does a propane fire table work?
A propane fire table connects a 20-pound propane tank to a gas burner controlled by a valve knob, igniting electronically to produce flame over decorative lava rock or fire glass.
What is chat height and why does it matter?
Chat height is 23-26 inches -- higher than a coffee table but lower than bar height -- so you can rest your arms comfortably on the surface without leaning forward. It pairs perfectly with deep-seat lounge seating in outdoor coffee table arrangements.
Can I return this if the size does not work?
Standard returns apply to options shown on the product page. See the returns page for details.
Are propane fire tables safe?
Yes, propane fire tables are safe when used according to manufacturer instructions, with clearances maintained from combustible materials and the tank connection checked regularly for leaks.
Does this fire table require assembly?
Yes, assembly is required upon delivery, with tank installation and burner connection completed on-site.
Where does this fire table work best?
This rectangular fire table anchors spacious patios with 6-8 surrounding seats from the outdoor chaise lounge or outdoor dining chair collections, and the enclosed tank storage keeps the base clean.

Good choice for a covered porch 36" x 54" Rectangular MGP Chat Height Outdoor Fire Table 2
I like that the MGP top is non-porous and doesnt need sealing, which is handy for a covered porch where sunscreen and food tend to get wiped around. The chat height feels more relaxed than a coffee-height fire table for longer chats, and the base cabinet keeps the propane tank out of sight. Its straightforward and durable for outdoor dining spots.
Uptown Sebastian: Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're so pleased to hear it found the right place in your space.

Solid tabletop but a bit heavy
The Marine Grade Polymer surface handled wine and sunscreen in mock setups and looks like it wont stain, and the cast aluminum frame gives the table real stability. My only gripe is that the unit is fairly heavy to move and took a little effort to assemble, so plan on a second set of hands. Otherwise the enclosed propane storage is a nice touch.
Uptown Sebastian: Thank you for the helpful feedback. We're glad you like it overall and appreciate the note.

Works well on a small rooftop
This rectangular footprint provides plenty of surface area for drinks and appetizers, so it fits nicely in a compact rooftop seating area where guests gather. The enclosed propane tank storage hides clutter and the cast aluminum construction should hold up to outdoor conditions. Its practical for casual evening get-togethers.
Uptown Sebastian: We appreciate you sharing this. Thank you for choosing LOOMLAN.

Finish was different in person 54 36
The overall construction seems fine, but the finish looked a little warmer than it appeared on my computer. It was also heavier to move than we expected, so setting it up took more planning than anticipated.
Uptown Sebastian: Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We're sorry it did not meet expectations and appreciate your feedback.

Comfortable height for conversations
At 23 inches the chat height stops everyone from leaning forward and actually lets people rest their forearms while talking. The cast aluminum frame shouldnt rust in an outdoor setting, and the enclosed propane tank storage keeps the base looking tidy. Good option for a backyard seating group.
Uptown Sebastian: Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're so pleased to hear it found the right place in your space.
