Gatherings where conversation shifts from fire pit to pool to patio demand seating that moves with you. The Reflections Swivel Rocker Lounge Chair combines 360-degree rotation with gentle rocking motion over a rust-proof aluminum frame, built for covered outdoor spaces where you'll want to follow the sun or turn toward friends without standing up. This Lloyd Flanders Reflections dual-motion lounge chair is available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping.
How Is This Chair Actually Built?
It's built over a welded aluminum frame that won't rust even in coastal humidity, then wrapped in Lloyd Loom 2x2 wicker weave -- a tight synthetic vinyl construction that resists cracking, peeling, and UV fade far better than natural wicker. The swivel-rocker mechanism mounts directly to that aluminum structure, so the motion stays smooth through years of use. Every piece is made to order in the USA.
What Can You Choose on This Piece?
-
Wicker Color: 20 rust-resistant finish options
-
Cushion Fabric: Extensive Sunbrella selection in solids, patterns, and textures -- all solution-dyed for fade resistance
The seat cushion uses a foam core wrapped in polyester for structure that holds its shape, while the back cushion is 100% blown polyfill for softer support. Both fills are hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, mildew-resistant, and bacteria-resistant.
How Long Does It Take to Build?
This piece is made to order in 6-8 weeks from the day you select your wicker finish and fabric. Because it's built specifically for you, you're choosing exactly the combination you want rather than settling for what's in a warehouse. The frame carries the durability you'd expect from commercial-grade outdoor furniture, and the Lloyd Loom wicker is built to stand up to weather for years.
Where Should You Place a Swivel Rocker Lounge Chair?
Position it on a covered patio or under a pergola where you'll shift between conversation zones throughout the evening -- near a fire feature, flanking a pool deck, or anchoring an
outdoor lounge chair arrangement where the swivel function lets you turn toward different groups without moving the chair itself. Pair it with an
outdoor chaise lounge for dedicated sun-following or with additional
outdoor dining chairs when you're setting up a flexible entertaining area. The dual motion makes it ideal for spaces where you'll read, unwind, and socialize all in the same seat.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How is a swivel rocker different from a standard lounge chair?
- A swivel rocker gives you 360-degree rotation and forward-back rocking motion in one piece, so you can turn toward different patio areas and still enjoy the relaxing rock -- stationary lounge chairs face one direction only.
- Can I return a made-to-order piece?
- Because this chair is built to your wicker and fabric selections, it's a custom order -- Uptown Sebastian's 100% satisfaction guarantee covers quality and construction, but you'll want to confirm your choices before ordering.
- Where is this chair made?
- It's made in the USA by Lloyd Flanders.
- Will the wicker crack or fade outdoors?
- Lloyd Loom synthetic wicker won't crack, peel, or absorb moisture the way natural wicker does, and it's UV-resistant so the color holds through years of sun exposure.
- Are aluminum frames comfortable?
- Aluminum is the frame structure -- comfort comes from the deep seat cushions with foam core, polyester wrap, and Sunbrella fabric that resists fading, mildew, and moisture.
- Does this chair work near a pool or on the coast?
- Yes -- the welded aluminum frame is rust-resistant even in high-humidity and saltwater environments, and the wicker and cushion materials are all-weather rated for poolside and coastal use.
