Built in Michigan using the same Lloyd Loom technique developed in 1906, this wicker dining chair combines handwoven celluloid strands with a rust-resistant aluminum frame for outdoor seating that lasts decades. The Reflections Wicker Dining Chair Sunbrella Cushion, an outdoor dining chair available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping, delivers plush comfort and complete customization. You choose the wicker finish and the Sunbrella fabric, and your chair is woven to order.

How Is This Chair Actually Built?

It's woven, not assembled. The wicker is woven continuously over the aluminum frame rather than glued or stapled in strips, so there are no joints to separate or unravel. That internal frame is welded aluminum, which won't rust even in coastal air. The cushion core is high-resilience foam wrapped in polyester fiber and jacketed in polypropylene to resist moisture, mildew, and bacteria.

What Can You Choose on This Piece?

Everything visible. You select from over 20 wicker finishes -- white, natural, brown, black, or specialty colors -- all treated with UV-resistant pigments that won't fade. Then you pick from more than 100 Sunbrella fabrics for the cushion, each solution-dyed to resist sun, mildew, and water. Your chair is handcrafted after you order it, so it arrives exactly as you configured it.

How Long Does It Take to Build?

6-8 weeks from order to delivery. Because each chair is woven to your fabric and finish selections, it's built in sequence with other custom orders rather than pulled from stock. Lloyd Flanders warrants its frames and finishes for three years and its fabric and cushions for one year, for residential use only.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the wicker handwoven?

Yes, it's woven on Lloyd Looms in Michigan using the continuous-weave technique that's been refined for over a century.

Can it be used outdoors year round?

The synthetic celluloid wicker and aluminum frame are built for year-round exposure, though storing the chair covered or indoors extends its lifespan.

Where is it made?

Made in the USA.

Can I return a custom piece?

Returnability follows the option you ordered, not how the piece was built. A size, finish or configuration shown as an option on this page can be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to a 20% restocking fee -- whatever its build time. A specially requested size, or a piece made in your own material, is custom and is not returnable except on damage. Trade accounts have the restocking fee waived.

What makes Lloyd Loom wicker different from standard outdoor wicker?

Lloyd Loom is woven from cellulose strands that won't absorb moisture, crack, or rot like natural wicker or lower-grade synthetics.

Does this chair ship free?

Yes, free curbside delivery to the continental USA with no minimum order.
