Upholstered in supple top grain leather and built on a kiln-dried hardwood frame with pocketed coil cushions, this sofa delivers the comfort a three-seat piece should without compromising the clean lines modern living rooms demand. The Waverly Modern Leather Couch with Track Arms is available at Uptown Sebastian with free shipping. Its 7.5-inch-wide track arms offer a practical surface for a book or glass -- a detail most contemporary sofas sacrifice for a slimmer profile.
How Is This Sofa Actually Built?
It's built in the USA with a kiln-dried hardwood frame, reinforced corner blocking, and a no-sag spring base. The three-component cushion system layers premium down, individually pocketed coils, and high-resilience foam so the seat gives you immediate softness and holds its shape season after season. Top grain leather covers all the contact surfaces -- seating, arms, and wherever you'll actually touch the piece.
What Can You Choose on This Piece?
The Waverly is offered in a large selection of leather colors, all made to order by American craftspeople. You'll choose your finish when you place the order, and the piece is built specifically for you -- no stock, no showroom floor.
How Long Does It Take to Build?
8--10 weeks. Because each sofa is crafted to order, lead time reflects the actual build and finishing process. Leather furniture from Uptown Sebastian carries a lifetime guarantee on frame and suspension systems, and free shipping to the continental USA is included.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the difference between full grain and top grain leather?
- Full grain retains the entire surface with natural markings; top grain is sanded lightly for a more uniform finish while keeping the hide's strength and character.
- Will the leather soften over time?
- Yes -- top grain leather develops a natural patina and becomes more supple with use, aging gracefully rather than wearing out.
- What does the frame warranty cover?
- The lifetime guarantee covers the kiln-dried hardwood frame and no-sag spring suspension system against defects in materials and workmanship.
- How firm are the cushions?
- The pocketed coil and high-resilience foam core delivers structured support, while the premium down layer offers immediate softness -- a balanced feel that works for both upright seating and relaxed lounging.
- Will it fit through my door?
- The sofa ships fully assembled at 96 inches long, so measure your entry, hallways, and any turns -- white-glove delivery with professional maneuvering is available on request for an additional fee.
- Can I return a custom piece?
- Made-to-order furniture is built specifically for you, so confirm your leather selection and dimensions before ordering; our team at 833-566-6526 will walk you through the options to make sure it's right.
